Alexandrian parakeets are medium-sized birds and are among the largest species of parakeets. Many Alexandrians reach a length of up to 25 inches, although much of this length is due to their long, graceful tail feathers. They have a slim build for a parrot, which is typical for Asian Parakeets, but they are still a bit sturdier than other Asians like Indian Ringneck Parakeets.
